1. 1. I was initially contacted by a woman (name and number available) about a business called Coinfarmminers.trade that trades in Crypto and she showed me what successful poultry project she had as a result.
2. I invested 102.26initially. She showed me how to trade on the platform. In time she encouraged me to increase the amount and I added another 432.00 so that I could qualify for the next trade level, however I was asked to put an extra amount to get to £3 000 because with that amount the investment would get to £9 000 as they had a promotion of this on the website. The woman then said the manager would help me with the trade forthwith.
3. A man introduced himself as the manager (name and number available) and said he would help me go through the trade.
Several payments as itemised were requested and I paid from my credit cards and overdraft. This was to bring the amount to £3000 to meet their promotion which was giving a maximum return of £9000.
When I next checked my account on the Website expecting £9 000, the amount was now £16 000+. I asked the manager how the amount had grown so much. He then said your sister (meaning Natasha) had transferred some money into your account to help boost your earnings. Natasha later sent a msg to say she had transferred some of her investments to help increase my earnings.
4. I was then asked to pay an amount of £400 being miners fees, which I paid with much struggle as I was taking all this money from my overdraft and credit cards.
5. When the money was due for withdrawal, I was told that for me to withdraw the money into my bank account I needed to pay £1 000 as withdrawal fee. However it increased to £1 132 by the time I managed to get the money to pay. Then I was told it was not "complete", I needed to pay another £200. By this time the bank (name available) had blocked my account for investigation.
6. I was given the name of an individual (ane available) to send the money to and demanded that I pay £250 because of the delay. This I paid through my other bank (name avalable). The manager then said he had processed the transfer to go to my bank account.
7. After this, there came an email detailing how the bank would want proof of TRANSACTION WORTHY and for this I needed to pay £3 500 for a certificate and for the money to get into my account. In the same letter they also wanted my work ID and proof of address, which I sent. I have not been able to afford that kind of money. The manager said the total amount to be transferred to my bank was now £19 500.
8. The manager continues to put pressure on me to pay and has even suggested that I pay "bit by bit". I am worried this could be identity theft also in addition to the money.
The total amount I paid came to £3 400 (about US$4 200). I am asking for help to recover the money I paid please.
