0 Between mid-April and mid-May 2024, an individual named “Annie,” whom I met on a dating app, deceived me into depositing nearly $100,000 in digital currency for investments via Bitcoin trading. I deposited the funds into wallets via a fraudulent cryptocurrency platform called Causeit Pro. Causeit Pro is demanding that I pay an additional “fee” of $55,000 before releasing the funds and the alleged profit from the trading. Causeit Pro claims to be collecting daily interest of 2 percent, while “Annie” has been trying to persuade me to pay this “fee,” but I have refused.
